Job Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a home-based childminder for Kärra!
As a childminder, you will receive approximately 5 children aged 1-5 years in your home and are responsible for the pedagogical assignment. This means that you are responsible for ensuring that the children, based on the preschool curriculum, receive joyful learning as well as safe and good care.
Daily pedagogy and outdoor pedagogy are at the center, where you are responsible for ensuring that the children receive varied and pedagogical content during their stay with you. You are responsible for organizing the work during the day, which, in addition to learning and outdoor activities, also involves cooking all meals of the day with varied and nutritious food.
As a childminder, you are responsible for ensuring that the children have activities and learning both in your home, outdoors, and in the common group rooms available for the childminders' activities. You are part of a work team that collaborates in your local area. You and your colleagues collaborate and are jointly responsible for scheduling, planning, and developing your family daycares.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a childcare degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent, as well as having a home to conduct pedagogical care in. You must also have experience of working with children as well as experience of and interest in cooking. Since the work takes place mostly in your home, your home must be smoke-free. We also require that you have knowledge of systematic quality work.
The work as a childminder places high demands on personal suitability where interpersonal skills are an important competence. As a childminder, you therefore show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You start from the equal value of all and create a good atmosphere in the meeting. You have an open and positive attitude as you have the children's needs as the starting point for your actions. You are attentive and listen to other people in order to understand their needs. You actively seek others' opinions and perspectives and are receptive to them by showing respect, consideration, and care. You work for cohesion in the work group.
The work as a childminder also requires that you are flexible and work independently. For us, this means that you act on your own based on what the situation requires without needing support from others. You have the ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment as a childminder. You are also responsible and, with the best interests of the family daycares and children in focus, you take responsibility for your and the common tasks. You take your tasks seriously, are keen to complete what you have started, and ensure that the work is carried out in the right way.
